Bär & Karrer Successfully Represented Respondent in Swiss Supreme Court Proceedings

Bär & Karrer successfully represented Respondent, an international investment firm, in litigation regarding a M&A dispute before Swiss civil courts. On 9 March 2022, the Swiss Supreme Court ("SSC"), in a decision which is intended for publication in the SSC's Official Compilation (BGE/ATF), fully dismissed Claimant's appeal and upheld the lower court's decision in Respondents favor. The lower court's decision had declined jurisdiction for an action against Respondent for payment of an alleged share purchase price of CHF 8.8 million.
