On 19 March 2023, following discussions initiated jointly by the Swiss Federal Department of Finance, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA and the Swiss National Bank, UBS has entered into an all-share transaction for the acquisition of 100% of Credit Suisse.
Today, UBS has completed the acquisition of Credit Suisse. Credit Suisse Group AG has been merged into UBS Group AG and the combined entity will operate as a consolidated banking group. The shares of Credit Suisse Group will be delisted from SIX Swiss Exchange and Credit Suisse shareholders will receive 1 UBS share for every 22.48 Credit Suisse shares.
