Bär & Karrer has once again demonstrated professional excellence by receiving a Tier 1 ranking for Tax and Private Clients in the latest assessment from International Tax Review (ITR) World Tax. In addition, the firm has secured its first-ever ranking for Indirect Tax. This achievement underscores the range of expertise and experience the firm offers across all Swiss language areas to an expanding and sophisticated client base.
Two of our partners, Dr. Ruth Bloch-Riemer and Matthias Bizzarro, have made their debut in the ITR rankings, with a Highly Regarded rating for their work in the Private Clients and Tax Controversy sectors respectively. Ruth was also recognised as a Women in Tax Leader.
With specialist tax advice and assistance representing a key part of Bär & Karrer’s business, it is pleasing to see a further five professionals featuring strongly in these ITR rankings:
Notable Practitioner
- Daniel Bader
- Daniel Lehmann
Highly Regarded
- Paolo Bottini (General Corporate Tax and Private Clients)
- Susanne Schreiber (received additional recognition as a Women in Tax Leader)
- Raoul Stocker (Tax Controversy and World Transfer Pricing)
Given the robust procedures in place to produce the ITR rankings, Bär & Karrer has shown a real capacity to provide targeted and relevant tax support to clients. This means being responsive to changing regulations as well as helping clients to prepare for future developments around tax.
Commenting on the ITR rankings, Senior Partner, Susanne Schreiber said, "At Bär & Karrer, we are always fully attuned to the specific tax needs of our clients. Our team of expert lawyers is dedicated to providing specialised, personalised attention, ensuring that every detail is addressed."
