Valora Completes Sale of Valora Services to Thomas Kirschner

Valora successfully completed the sale of its division Valora Services to Thomas Kirschner, majority shareholder of the leading German press wholesaler PVG, with effect as of 31 July 2014. The divested division Valora Services includes Valora's press wholesaling business in Switzerland and in Luxembourg as well as its third-party logistics operations in Switzerland.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to Valora in the transaction. The Bär & Karrer team included Christoph Neeracher, Luca Jagmetti, Georg Frey, Daniel Heiniger and Nikolaus Paumgartner (all M&A), Markus Wang (IT), Raoul Stocker (Tax), Mani Reinert (Competition) as well as Till Spillmann, Roland Truffer and Adrian Koller (all Finance).
