Valora Sells Third-Party Goods Wholesaling Business to Lekkerland

Valora Schweiz AG has entered into an agreement with Lekkerland Schweiz AG regarding the sale of its third-party goods wholesaling business. This business unit supplies some 650 third-party outlets with tobacco, food, beverage and non-food products. In the financial year 2012, it generated some CHF 100 million in turnover, mainly through tobacco-product sales.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal adviser to Valora in this transaction. The Bär & Karrer team includes Thomas Reutter, Christoph Neeracher and Daniel Heiniger (all Corporate), Mani Reinert (Antitrust) and Laura Widmer (Employment).
