Globus to Acquire Schild

Globus, a leading Swiss premium department store chain, has agreed to acquire Schild, a Swiss fashion house. Completion of the transaction is expected to take place in the beginning of 2014, subject, inter alia, to merger control approvals.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to Globus in the transaction. The team includes Christoph Neeracher, Mariel Hoch, Luca Jagmetti, Philippe Seiler, Georg Frey and Fabienne Frehner (all M&A), Markus Wang and Fabian Wigger (both IP), Daniel Bader (Tax) as well as Till Spillmann and Ivo von Büren (both Finance).
