Bär & Karrer Advises PAI Partners in the Proprietary Partnership for Motel One Group

PAI Partners will become the majority owner of Motel One, with a share of approximately 80% in the operating business. Following the transaction, Dieter Müller, Founder of Motel One, will remain Chairman of the company. Independently of the partnership with PAI Partners, he will continue to develop the previously spun-off real estate arm to further support Motel One growth.

Bär & Karrer acted as Swiss legal advisor to PAI Partners in this transaction. The transaction was led by the international team of A&O Shearman. The Bär & Karrer team included Raphael Annasohn and Luana Stämpfli (both M&A) as well as Rocco Rigozzi and Corina Moschen (both Real Estate).
